These crankshafts will fit Ford and Mercury 351w and 351c engines and stroker engines built using these OEM engines as foundations when using OEM or aftermarket blocks with the matching Cleveland or Windsor main sizes. The 351 Cleveland main size cranks can be used in a 351W block by using the appropriate bearing spacers or special bearings made to adapt the 351C mains to the larger 351W block.

NOTE: To use any of these cranks in a 351W block with the stock Windsor size mains you must use the appropriate bearing spacers. The smaller diameter of the Cleveland size main journal offers many performance advantages while still being extremely strong. The smaller main journals result in a lighter crankshaft, reduced bearing speed, reduced friction, better oiling and other advantages. |
