Molnar SBF Connecting Rods

Molnar Technologies I Beam and H Beam small block Ford rods are machined from billet 4340 steel, and then heat treated to provide improved strength. To make the rods even stronger, they are shot peened to which also increases fatigue life. All Molnar SBF rods are fitted with highly durable premium bronze bushings for use with floating pin type pistons. Each rod set for the Ford small block engines includes ARP fasteners, lubricant and installation guidelines.

The rods listed here have the correct beam offset for the 302, 5.0L, 351W, 351Cand 400 small block Ford engines. Many other places will try to sell you an actual small block chevy based rod and while the big end and pin end may match up dimensionally to your crank an actual Chevy rod does NOT have the correct beam offset to use in your Ford engine block. Using the wrong beam offset places undesirable stresses on your rotating assembly. The far better choice for your performance engine is to use these Molnar SBF rods which have the correct beam offset so you will maximize performance and durability.

All Molnar small block 5.0 302 rods, 351W rods and 351 lightweight rods are finished in the United States at the Molnar Technologies shop in Michigan. Critical rod dimensions are are held to very precise tolerances of +/- .0001 of an inch, which is the tightest tolerance you will find in the performance and racing aftermarket.
